Sponsoring education to support disadvantaged young people and enable them to succeed in life

We provide equal opportunities for education, wellbeing and decent work for those in need in Malawi. The priority is given to children and young people, primarily, but not exclusively, through funding education costs, community services, and relief so basic human rights are met.

Through Study Sponsorship we empower young people to gain a higher level of education, gain skills for decent work, have a lifestyle that supports health and wellbeing and be free from discrimination.

Community Projects enable children to have access to nutritious meals, preschool education and learning support via community day care centres.

What We Do

Poverty excludes many children and young people from education in Malawi. In one of the ten poorest countries in the world, 37% of children have their growth and development stunted due to malnutrition. Through Community Projects we provide nutritious meals, pre-school education, and learning support for primary school. Through Study Sponsorship we are able to fund higher education so a child’s success is not limited by poverty.

When we improve health and education we increase earning potential for life, which transforms the prospects of the individual, their family’s livingstandard, and the skills within their community.
